Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 May 2026
Introduction
These Terms of Service («Terms») govern access to and use of StyleViz («Service»), including the StyleViz application offered through or in connection with Shopify, and related websites or materials we operate.
By installing or using the Service, or by using our website in ways that accept these Terms where indicated, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the business or organisation you represent.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility and authority
You confirm that you are legally able to enter into binding agreements and, when using the Service for a Shopify store, that you have authority to bind that merchant to these Terms.
Description of the Service
StyleViz provides software that helps merchants present products in a more visual, outfit-oriented experience within the Shopify ecosystem. Features, limits, and availability may change as we develop the product.
The Service depends on Shopify and your store configuration. We are not responsible for Shopify’s platform, your theme, third-party apps, or payment and checkout flows except as expressly stated.
Merchant responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, lawful use of the Service, and compliance with applicable laws (including consumer, marketing, and privacy laws affecting your store).
You are responsible for content and product data you configure, upload, or make available through the Service. You must have the rights needed to use that content.
Your data and confidentiality
Product and configuration data you add in StyleViz is intended for use in your own context and is not sold to or shared with unrelated third parties for their independent commercial use. We may use subprocessors strictly to operate the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service, including software, branding, and documentation. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your internal business purposes in connection with Shopify.
You retain your rights in your content. You grant us a licence to host, process, and display your content as reasonably necessary to provide the Service.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, reverse engineer except where permitted by law, or use the Service in violation of law or Shopify policies.
Availability and changes
We strive for reliable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
We may update these Terms; we will post the revised Terms and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance unless otherwise required by law.
Fees
If the Service is offered on a paid basis, pricing, billing, and taxes will be communicated separately (for example via Shopify’s billing mechanisms or a separate agreement). Failure to pay may result in suspension.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided «as is» and «as available» to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties not expressly stated.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to liability (or, if none, a nominal amount). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, or goodwill, except where such limitations are prohibited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StyleViz against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, risk to security, legal requirements, or non-payment where applicable.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations, and governing law) will survive.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Exclusive venue for disputes arising from these Terms shall be the courts of Norway, unless mandatory consumer protections or other non-waivable law provides otherwise.
